Less Pain, Better Physical Function
Researchers involved in a placebo-controlled trial just published in the journal Pain believe this is the first of its kind conducted on vitamin D for fibromyalgia.
They saw a marked reduction in pain as well as increased physical function in the treatment group.
Earlier research has suggested that people with FMS (and ME/CFS) are especially likely to have low vitamin D levels. Your doctor can order a blood test to check your levels and see if you may benefit from supplementation.
